Oh yeah, I have to mention my sister Shelbey.......she likes to THINK she can ride a motorcylce.....but me and grandpa still don't let girls in the tree fort

To start my  project I built a rotisorie to be able the rotate the car in any direction amd do a lot nicer welding and clean up work. then I mounted a complete front clip out a 85 Nissian maximax in the back of the 87 Honda Civic.  I bent up a roll bar and used it as a major structure component in building the car. Next i found a 87 Nissan 300 zx turbo engine and mounted it to the stock front wheel drive trans and axles from the 85 maxima. I intend to induct air from a roof scoop into the intercoolers and oil coolers at the back of the engine and ram air for the turbo as I go along. The gas tank and radiator will be up front with some suprises on air management, and a very creative brake system that will allow this baby to steer straight if it gets the front wheels of the ground

rear inter/oil cooler management
Let's start the flares now that we have the wheels located

it will look fast just sitting still...........Most street races are won at the parking lot through intimidation >;o)

I used an old Chrysler mini van as a donor for the outer ledge ( cheating I know) and formed up the flares on an english wheel, it is all welded  steel without any plastic

Well, back to some air management.  I  dont have exact numbers to tell me how much air is too much, but that is my biggest fear, I  know there will be an abundance of air available on this roof line, so I want to make sure it can exit  quickly, but not too fast, because the air will have to have the time around the intercooler and oil cooler to absorb the heat before it exits.

I  exagerrated the size of the air scoop by covering the steel scoop with a fiberglass cover so it  looks bigger than it really is and I left room to restrict the intake of air if it is collecting too much air too fast. I wanted a bold look  for the car and I am getting it .

I put the rear fender flares in primer while you were away >;o)

the roof scoop fit in properly and will work well

all good things for a man start with a hole
complete air ducting
I wanted to build adjustable shocks
now I can transfer wieght with hiegth
I could find a much better selection of springs
I can get bigger back space in my wheel now too
